Terms of service.

Universal Home Salonconnects customers with independent beauty and wellness professionals for at-home services. The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted availability.

You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes, to provide accurate information when creating an account or placing a booking, and to treat professionals respectfully.

A booking is a request for service at a specific date, time and address. Bookings are confirmed once payment (online) is captured or once a cash booking is accepted.

We reserve the right to decline, cancel or reschedule a booking if a professional is unavailable, if the address is outside our service area, or for any reason that materially impacts service quality or safety. Refunds for such cancellations are handled per the refund policy.

Online payments are processed by Razorpay. By choosing online payment you authorise the charge at checkout. Universal Home Salon does not store full card details.

Cash-on-service is paid directly to the professional after the appointment. Cash receipts are recorded on the platform once the professional or admin marks the payment as collected.

Prices displayed at checkout are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Prices and service availability may change without prior notice.

You agree to:

• Provide a clean, accessible and safe space for the service.
• Disclose any skin sensitivities, allergies or medical conditions relevant to the service.
• Be present (or arrange access) at the scheduled time.
• Not request services beyond what was booked unless paid for separately.
• Treat professionals with respect — abusive behaviour is grounds for account suspension.

Professionals are independent contractors, not employees of Universal Home Salon. The platform verifies credentials before onboarding, but the customer retains responsibility for disclosing relevant medical/skin information before the service begins.

Specific services may have age restrictions, hygiene prerequisites, or require an appropriate service space (electrical outlet, water access, etc). These are noted at checkout where applicable.

You can cancel or reschedule active bookings from your account before the appointment. Once a service has begun or completed, cancellation is not possible.

Refund eligibility depends on the payment method and the state of the booking at the time of cancellation. Online-paid bookings are subject to refund review by our team. Cash-paid bookings may be handled as account adjustments. See the refund policy for full details.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You may close your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse professionals, or commit fraud.

Universal Home Salon is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform or a service rendered by a professional. The maximum platform liability for any claim related to a specific booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking.

The platform does not warrant any specific outcome from a beauty or wellness service. Results may vary based on individual factors including skin type, hair condition and underlying health.

The Universal Home Salon name, logo, design, photography and platform code are owned by us. You may not copy, reproduce or use them without written permission.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in our registered location.
