How does booking a service work?
Browse the services menu, pick what you need, choose a date and time slot, add an address and continue to checkout. You'll get a confirmation and live updates as a professional is assigned and arrives at your doorstep.
Can I book multiple services in one order?
Yes. Add several services to your cart, pick a single appointment slot, and we'll arrange them as one booking order. You'll see one combined total and one booking reference.
What payment methods do you accept?
You can pay online via UPI, card, netbanking or wallet (powered by Razorpay), or choose "cash on service" and pay the professional after the appointment.
What's the difference between cash and online payment?
Cash-on-service is paid in person after your appointment. Online payments are processed at checkout — once paid, your booking is confirmed instantly. Cash bookings are also confirmed instantly but settled later.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes. You can cancel active bookings from your bookings page anytime before the appointment. For cash bookings not yet paid, no refund is required. For online-paid bookings, a refund review is triggered — our team verifies and processes it within a few business days.
Can I reschedule a booking?
Active bookings can be rescheduled to any available date and time before the appointment, from your bookings page. For multi-service orders, individual items can be rescheduled if their professional is available.
How long do refunds take?
Once a refund is approved by our team, processing typically takes 3–7 business days to reflect in the original payment method. Bank/UPI processing time may add 1–2 days on top.
Are professionals verified?
All professionals on Universal Home Salon go through a manual approval process. They're trained and equipped to deliver salon-grade services at home with hygiene-first protocols.
Where do you operate?
Universal Home Salon serves customers in select cities across India. Availability of specific services in your area depends on professional coverage — you'll see only the services available for your address at checkout.
What if I'm not satisfied with a service?
Reach out via the support section — our team will personally review your booking, talk to the professional and arrange a resolution, including refunds or service redos where appropriate.
How do I track my booking?
Open the booking from your bookings page. You'll see a live status tracker (Booked → Confirmed → Pro assigned → On the way → In session → Completed) plus updates as the booking progresses.
Do you offer gift cards or packages?
Not yet. We're focused on building the cleanest at-home booking experience first — gift cards and packages are on our roadmap.
